ISBN: 0-9618191-0-3, printed by Taylor Publishing Company, Dallas, Texas � 1987. This work relies heavily upon material obtained from the original records in the National Archives and other research locations. Profusely illustrated with photographs and line drawings of each holster and cartridge box unless the description in the record is insufficient or nonexistent. Other illustrations and photographs include military arsenals, U. S military personnel (pre-Civil War, Civil War and Post Civil War) in uniform wearing / using the holsters and/or pistol cartridge boxes described in the text. Publication is in very good or better condition with the only blemish being a very small chip on the edge of the front cover. A hard-to-find work for the serious collector of U.S. militaria.
